About Cannoli King

Cannoli King Vancouver has been locally handcrafting Sicilian Cannoli for over 35 years. We make everything from scratch, from our dough to the fillings, its all done right here at Italia Bakery Vancouver.  We also hand roll, deep fry, and fill fresh Sicilian Cannoli while you wait!!! 

 

Sam started working at the family bakery “Fortuna Bakery” at the age of 8 years old, helping his Dad, Francesco Pero, starting early mornings at 4 am. Sam left the baking industry to pursue a different career. In September 2001, and 15 years later, he returned back to his roots in the family business as a baker in Port Moody at “Casa Del Pane”, where he learned & refined his skills along side his Dad and brother  Paolo Pero.

 

Sam, Danny, and  Paolo, purchased “Italia Bakery” from Mario & Lina Toteda in 2005, Sam & Elizabeth took full ownership in November 2006. Since then Sam Pero and his staff have continued to create, develop and make authentic Sicilian Cannoli, as well as other flavours and Cannoli cakes.

 

In 2013 Cannoli King Vancouver was born.  We wanted to go out into the community and bring the Sicilian culture, and what better way to do this than through  a food truck.  You will find “PIPER”-Cannoli King Vancouver at various markets, Italian Days, P.N.E, Italian Cultural Center, and many more.  Follow our social media for exact locations.  Our cannoli are also available 7 days a week at  Italia Bakery Vancouver, located at 2828 East Hastings, Vancouver, BC
